He's back in the U.S. of A...................

My flight this morning landed in Atlanta at 5:10 am from Tel Aviv, Israel. Just to get into Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv is difficult. Guards with machine guns everywhere. The questions being asked are direct and to-the-point, "why were you in Israel and what did you do here?". There isn't any of the crap you have to put up with like we do with the TSA in America. Getting back into the United States of which I am a citizen was rather comical. Customs agents weren't on duty so we had wait on the plane until they could come out of their den. The guy who stamped my passport was half asleep and didn't say a word. The next guy who had the job of looking into my bags sent me to the Agricultural Inspector apparently just to keep him busy. I had nothing of interest to him so I proceded to send my bags to baggage claim and walk into the terminal. I had to then go thru a security system in which I could NOT BRING even a bottle of water into America!!! Let's see, I get through one of the most difficult security checks in the world (Israel), fly to America and then have to give up a bottle of water that Delta just happened to give me as a freebie and have to give it up before walking thru a metal detector. Just how and where I could have gotten anything on my person between the plane and the metal detector is beyond me but I state this so you can see the lunacy of how many hundreds of millions we spend on the fight against terror when the real fight is against Islamic extremists all over the world. Old ladies and guys like myself with a bottle of water aren't the problem. The millions of criminal aliens that have poured through our borders are the problem The problem is now political and neither party will address the problem for fear of losing the 2008 Hispanic vote. Michael Savage is right on. May God bless America.

More on a week in Israel after some sleep...............
