July 4, 2007

Happy birthday America, may you live long and prosper.

With the biggest stock market indices moving into record territory again this year I want to reiterate the message that should and must be rung like the Liberty Bell.

The stock market, long term, only goes one way. This isn't Vegas, this isn't betting the Derby, this isn't taking the Giants by 10 over the Colts, this isn't Social Security or your Super Bowl betting pool. No slots, no wheels, no cards found here. It only goes one way, long term. And owning RSP is the best way to own it.

Now please tell me America why can't the brainwashed, negative people out there see that there exists an unabated movement that is called an upward biased stock market drift that is picked up and carried magically upward?

Can't they see that the engine gets greased and refueled daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly by the legions of market players, dealers and participants who need the market to go up?

Negative journalism sells. Eradicate the financial pornography on CNBC and you will do fine.

The best birthdays are yet to come!
