American taxation. Does anybody give a rats ass?

If you are like most Americans, paying taxes is one of your pet peeves.  The deadline to file your federal taxes is coming up, and this year Americans will spend more than 7 billion hours preparing their taxes and will hand over more than four trillion dollars to federal, state and local governments.  Americans will fork over nearly 30 percent of what they earn to pay their income taxes, but that is only a small part of the story.

As you will see below, there are dozens of other taxes that Americans pay every year.  Of course not everyone pays all of these taxes, but without a doubt we are all being taxed into oblivion.  It is like death by a thousand paper cuts.  Our politicians have become extremely creative in finding ways to extract money from all of us, and most Americans don't even realize what is being done to them.  By the time it is all said and done, a significant portion of the population ends up paying more than half of what they earn to the government.  That is fundamentally wrong, but nothing will be done about it until people start demanding change.

The following is a list of 97 taxes Americans pay every year...

Yet despite all of this oppressive taxation, our local governments, our state governments and our federal government are all absolutely drowning in debt.
When the federal income tax was originally introduced a little more than 100 years ago, most Americans were taxed at a rate of only 1 percent.

But once they get their feet in the door, the social planners always want more.
Since that time, tax rates have gone much higher and the tax code has exploded in size.
Why do we have to have the most convoluted tax system in the history of the planet?
Why can't things be simpler?

Here is a number of reasons why our federal income tax system has become a complete and utter abomination that is entirely out of control...

1 - The U.S. tax code is now 3.8 million words long.  If you took all of William Shakespeare's works and collected them together, the entire collection would only be about 900,000 words long.
2 - According to the National Taxpayers Union, U.S. taxpayers spend more than 7.6 billion hours complying with federal tax requirements.  Imagine what our society would look like if all that time was spent on more economically profitable activities.
3 - 75 years ago, the instructions for Form 1040 were two pages long.  Today, they are 189 pages long.
4 - There have been 4,428 changes to the tax code over the last decade.  It is incredibly costly to change tax software, tax manuals and tax instruction booklets for all of those changes.
5 - According to the National Taxpayers Union, the IRS currently has 1,999 different publications, forms, and instruction sheets that you can download from the IRS website.
6 - Our tax system has become so complicated that it is almost impossible to file your taxes correctly.  For example, back in 1998 Money Magazine had 46 different tax professionals complete a tax return for a hypothetical household.  All 46 of them came up with a different result.
7 - In 2009, PC World had five of the most popular tax preparation software websites prepare a tax return for a hypothetical household.  All five of them came up with a different result.
8 - The IRS spends $2.45 for every $100 that it collects in taxes.
9 - According to The Tax Foundation, the average American has to work until April 17th just to pay federal, state, and local taxes.  Back in 1900, "Tax Freedom Day" came on January 22nd.
10 - When the U.S. government first implemented a personal income tax back in 1913, the vast majority of the population paid a rate of just 1 percent, and the highest marginal tax rate was just 7 percent.

If it was up to me, I would abolish the income tax and shut the IRS down.

But neither major political party in the United States is even willing to consider such a thing.  So the monstrous system that we have created will continue to get even bigger and even more complicated.

We are literally being taxed into oblivion, and most Americans don't even seem to care.

Climate Change BS...............

Anyone else tired of the CLIMATE CHANGE goon squads?

These leftist fools are popping up all over the world and faster than Bill Clinton headed after an intern and for sure slower than Hillary Clinton trying her best to come up with the Rose Law Firm billing records.

I wish the CLIMATE CHANGE fools would take a good hike in a nasty blizzard and stop the blame game.

It won't be long and there will be a specific reason that humans cause every single rough weather patch everywhere on the planet.  Imagine the WEATHER CHANNEL leading with the reason the Obama Blizzard of 2019 caused by too many cars backed up on I-95 due to a wreck and the gases being emitted were the root cause of a good northeaster!

The Yellen Fed

I knew it.   The 6.5% unemployment rate benchmark was a smokescreen.   They now are changing their tune and the printing continues on its merry way.

Spending billions upon billions these Fed honcho's are running blind and running scared.  The music will stop and the ship will give up the rats.

This won't end well.  As usual the average American gets what he can't even see coming at him and his grandchildren.

It really is a sick, twisted situation.   Talking about getting inflation UP to a 2% rate and not including food and energy increases is a slap in the face to America.   We all consume food and energy.

I hope some day in the not too distant future that somebody, anybody, inside the Fed will come out and let the world know about the linkage between the Fed and the NYSE.

All you need to know folks...........

Another zinger from ZeroHedge..............

Remember back when the Republicans and the Democrats were wasting our money flogging out the question as to whether or not they should vote the budget despite not having any money? Remember all those people that got told to stay at home and got laid off because Washington couldn’t find the greenbacks for them?

Well, the guys in Washington were certainly able to agree on continuing voting the budget for that Super Twiggy Squirrel advertisement that was running in Spain and trumpeting the healthy benefits of walnuts grown in California. The Department of Agriculture was spending $200 million a year on that promotion and $3 million went into the advertising. The Republicans and the Democrats voted 322 (only 98 against) for keeping that advertisement running while the Federal workers got sent home and told to eat humble pie (some of which incidentally were paid $4, 000 per month for doing nothing at all).

Here are some prime examples:

• The Department of Defense continued spending $432 million on the construction of aircraft that will never be put in the air. They have been financing the building of the C-27J Spartan since 2007. Despite having been told that the Air Force considered that this aircraft could not offer superior capabilities during airlift missions and that it could not match the already existent C-130. Since 2012, Congress has been informed that funding of production should stop. It hasn’t. Waste.
• The Department of Defense has thought up the wonderful idea of destroying $7 billion-worth of military equipment and vehicles that are in the Middle East as it pulls out and it feels that it’s too expensive to ship home. Waste.
• $60.4 million that was voted to be spent on Hurricane-Sandy victims should have gone to helping them rebuild things. Instead New York and New Jersey (state-level officials) spent that money on tourist ads. Waste.
• Children are being taught about the effects of global warming by NASA ($390, 000) through a kids’ show (Green Ninja) via YouTube. Waste.
• Facebook gets a tax rebate (yes it doesn’t pay any tax and gets a refund from the state) worth $295 million. Waste.
• NASA is searching for signs of intelligent life in space still ($3 million), while we can’t even find a trace of it in Washington itself. Waste.

Boondoggle Bungles by Washington that’s all they are. The examples of waste by Washington lead us to question every day what the government is actually doing with our money.

Governments don’t tend to ever cut back on wasteful spending. They reduce the level of services available to citizens and they attempt (perhaps outwardly) to continue providing that same service. That means that the federal workers just have to do more with less. But, it doesn’t ever limit the scope of the government. It rarely reduces the possibility of getting access to money that is embezzled, diverted or exploited by those that are in positions of authority.

The true question that comes to mind however is whether or not the government is a waste or just completely wasted when it thinks up he reasons why it should spend out hard earned tax-payers’ money on frivolous, questionable things. Baked, folded, call it what you will. But, governments when wasting must always be belligerent when it comes to justifying why they spent that money. Always remember that attack is the best form of defense; we all know that.

What a waste, government!

Judicial system, FAIL................

PROFILE ON RENEGADE MOUNTAIN QUADRUPLE MURDER SUSPECT JACOB BENNETT - 105.7 THE HOG INVESTIGATIVE EXCLUSIVE

As Jacob Allen Bennett stands accused for the deaths of four individuals on Renegade Mountain in Cumberland County in September 2013, Bennett is no stranger to law enforcement not only in Tennessee but in Florida as well. It should be noted that the co-defendant Brittany Moser also stands accused of felony murder and robbery with Bennett. Moser has no criminal record.

Here is a timeline of events that led to Bennett being charged with the Renegade Mountain murders. All records obtained by law enforcement and courts in Tennessee and in Florida:

1987 – Jacob Allen Bennett born in Jacksonville

1999 – Bennett is arrested by Santa Rosa County, Florida authorities on three felonies at the age of 12 years old. Charges were larceny, burglary and vandalism over $1,000.

2001 – Bennett (now age 14) charged in Santa Rosa County, Florida on felony larceny and damage to property

2005 – Bennett (now 18 years old) Charged in Santa Rosa County, Florida with felony larceny and possession of stolen property. Pled guilty and was given one year to serve and ordered to pay $800 restitution.

2005 – Bennett charged with felony battery of a Citrus County, Florida detention officer where he was being held for the April 2005 guilty plea. Pled guilty and fined $500

2006 – Just two months after his release from past sentence, Bennett is charged by Escambia County, Florida authorities with felony fondling of a child ages 12 to 15. Pled guilty to lewd and lascivious behavior but was not required to register as a sex offender in Florida.

2009 – Bennett charged by Santa Rosa County, Florida for fraudulent activities. Bennett leaves the state and relocates in Cumberland County, Tennessee in Crab Orchard area to live with grandmother.

2009 – In same month he arrives, Bennett is charged with theft over $1,000 for stealing a 2003 Jeep from a Renegade Mountain resident. Bennett is arrested in Carter County, Tennessee on the warrant taken out by Cumberland County authorities.

2009 – State of Florida charges Bennett with theft under $1,000 and issues a hold on him if arrested (this is important to extradition case….Bennett would be arrested numerous times leading up to the Renegade Mountain murders yet Florida would not come get him once he was jailed in Tennessee)

2009 – Bennett arrested in Cumberland County for warrants out of Santa Rosa County, Florida for fraudulent use of credit cards more than 2 times and 3 counts of larceny of credit cards

2009 – Bennett charged with probation violation in Cumberland County, Tennessee for failing to report to his probation officer. Judge David Patterson revokes Bennett’s probation and orders him to serve remainder of sentence in jail.

2009 – Bennett indicted by Fentress County, Tennessee grand jury on theft over $500 for stealing a rifle, rings, coins and checks from a Fentress County couple. Bennett pleads guilty and gets a two year sentence to serve at 30 percent.

2009 – Bennett indicted against by the Fentress County, Tennessee grand jury on theft, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, attempted theft, attempted solicitation or sexual exploitation of a minor and exploitation of a minor. He pleads to three counts and gets another 2 years to serve.

2009 – Bennett steals check from a Fentress County home and cashes check in Crossville. Officers take out warrant but unable to locate Bennett.

2010 – Bennett waives presentment of a case for forgery involving checks taken in Fentress County. Pleads guilty to theft and forgery charges and gets two years to serve.

2010-2011 – Bennett disciplined in court five times for failing to report and for possession of contraband. His probation was revoked in March 2010 and he was sent to the Morgan County Correctional Complex and later to the South Central Correctional Facility. Later he would complete his sentence in Hardaman County where he remained until he was paroled in March 2013

2013, September 12 – Bennett along with Moser charged with four counts of premeditated murder, four counts of felony murder and two counts of aggravated robbery after four people were shot and killed in a car on Renegade Mountain in Cumberland County, Tennessee.

According to records, Bennett was arrested or appeared in court nearly a dozen times with a hold from Florida in place. However, Florida authorities decide not to extradite Bennett. Florida prosecutors say the hold was on a charge of theft and if Bennett was extradited back, it was a high probability that he would have bonded out soon after his arrival. According to Florida law enforcement, a typical extradition from eastern Tennessee to the northwestern panhandle of Florida would cost Florida around $500 to $800. Therefor Florida officials chose not to extradite Jacob Bennett.

Bennett now sits in the Morgan County Correctional Facility awaiting trial in Cumberland County. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty if Bennett is convicted of the quadruple murders.

That right there is some funny shit.............

March 3

Today marks the 23rd year of marriage.

It has been a great run between the highs and lows.

My bride is about 10 hours away by 747 so it is quiet.

The best way to celebrate tonight will be to pray.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  Amen.

Choose life........

In Georgia and New York a black unborn child has a greater risk of being killed than born---what does that say?  The facts speak for themselves.

Liberalism at it's finest.

Remember............

Generally speaking, addictions to pot, booze or pills are generally immune to logical advice.

Cigarettes as well.

Just a couple more campaign speeches from 1600 Pennsylvania and things will be just fine.   Do his handlers have a page in the playbook for Mr. Putin not following the script?   Biden will have an answer for it all, just wait!  Lurch needs to stick to the family KETCHUP business.   And Hillary, is she day trading cattle futures during all of this?

Lets hope when the worlds richest man lays down his line in the sand we aren't in the middle of a beer summit!

Well, at least Snowden can vacation in Crimea now............

An open letter to America..........

Haven't you had enough?   Aren't there enough young men and women filling the VA hospitals that have been maimed in these last few "wars"?   Are you tired of hearing campaign speech after campaign speech from the current occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?   Tired of beer summits, shovel ready and lines in the sand?    Still think govenment creates new and great jobs with your dollars as a taxpayer?  Tired of the free shit army crowd that is sucking the work ethic right out of society?
Tired of watching generation after generation get "lost" due to single parents?  Tired of the prison population growing parabolic?  Tired of the NSA?  Still think Edward Snowden did something "wrong"?  Tired of watching your taxes go up and up?  Tired of government interference in your business life (if you have one).  Tired of worrying about what kind of America your children and grandchildren will grow up in?  Tired of the race-baiters?   Tired of political correctness?   Tired of the zombie society created with social media devices?  Tired of unions?  Tired of the NEA? Tired of the college scam?   Tired of the Federal Reserve, the single largest threat to the financial system today?  Tired of the algo's and high frequency trading and metals manipulation and gutless and paid-for regulators?   Really tired of the lobbyists who run the country?  Tired of Republicans and Democrats?  Tired of $17 trillion in national debt?

I am.
