Deer ticks in Georgia..........

I lived in Georgia for nearly three decades.   The ticks in Georgia are so big you can ride them like 4 wheelers.  If you can catch a brood of young ticks and train them well, they can take you places a 4 wheeler can't get into to.   Deer are not alarmed by their smell.  There is also a great saddle maker for big ticks in Atlanta if anyone is interested!
