Mandaree on Ft. Berthold

This was home. In the 60's the total population was around 100.  Where I danced in pow-wows.  Learned to cowboy.   Killed my first deer.  My first rattler.   Hunted beaver.   Watched Northern Lights.  Learned to kill animals on the run.  Saw death in many forms.  Probably shot more sharp-tailed grouse than anyone in America.

Mandaree Warriors.   Class of 1972.   I doubt 15% of the class is still alive.
