I left California in 1989.  

Good timing for sure.  

Here is Los Angeles County.

Insufficient controlled burns and vegetation management. 

Water pressure issues impacting firefighting efforts. 

Policy decisions impeding the capabilities of local fire departments.

 

Poor coordination between different levels of government and agencies. 

Disastrous local leadership (not filling reservoirs or maintaining firebreaks).

Los Angeles mayor is on vacation in Africa.

The Los Angeles Fire Department chief is a DEI advocate. 

Biden Administration stopped doing controlled burns.

The fire hydrants don't have water.

But hey, you have a few more female fire fighters in the ranks! At least you got that going for you.

2025 is off to a grand start of Cali stupidity.

As Elon would call it,  insane.
